“After a decade working in the mining pit, we have never experienced such considerate after-sale service”, praised Mr. Feng Song, vice general manager of Bosai Minerals Group Guyana (BMGG)’s aluminum ore project.
Bosai Group is a large multinational company specializing in mining, mineral processing, smelting, and deep processing. For more than a decade of mining in Guyana, they have been using Terex and Caterpillar equipment, which has allowed them to accumulate extensive maintenance experience and a stable supply chain. Thus, when the idea to introduce SANY equipment was first proposed, it was intensely doubted by the leadership. Following several visits and detailed presentations by our marketing manager, Bosai finally signed an order for 47 SRT95C rigid off-highway mining trucks from SANY.
In response, SANY dispatched a professional service team, with over ten years of mining truck maintenance to the site. Upon the equipment’s arrival, service engineers on-site worked tirelessly to assemble, test, and inspect the truck. Affected by the environment and complex working conditions, the equipment experienced a breaking-in period, during which our service team remained on-call 24/7 to address all kinds of issues. At the same time, training sessions for operators and repairmen were in full swing. Thanks to these efforts, the equipment’s operational availability has remained above 93% for three consecutive months, fully meeting Bosai’s expectations. In this way, Bosai has refreshed their impression of SANY, which led to the words of Mr. Feng Song in the beginning.
In June, Mr. Feng presented SANY’s Guyana service team with a silk banner in recognition of their dedication to ensuring the project's smooth operation. Now Bosai is planning to purchase additional mining trucks from SANY.
At the same time, touched by the service, Bosai’s sub-contractor also bought a large mining excavator from SANY. “Almost every day, I see busy service engineers of SANY on-site. Their timely and fast problem-solving service makes me feel at ease. This is a service I have never seen before,” said the boss of the sub-contractor.
The Guyana service team is made up of highly experienced engineers, each with a decade of mining truck maintenance expertise. Each of them has their own role, from equipment maintenance, and supervision, to warehouse management, and on-site scheduling and coordination. But together, they made great teamwork. This is also the key to good service. “Although we provide the customer a top-tier experience in using SANY, we know there’s always more to achieve. Keeping the efficient service is something we are deeply committed to,” stated Mr. Li Yunfei, service manager of the Bosai Project.
Looking ahead, SANY’s service engineers continue to strive for excellence, constantly refining their processes and adapting to new challenges. As SANY’s global footprint grows, we believe that exceptional service will be key to driving our customers to succeed!
